Inland Valley Baseball: Website Re-design, SEO & SMMA

The Inland Valley Baseball Association, known for hosting two summer leagues—one for high-level Division I athletes (CPCL) and another for developing junior college athletes (SBL)—struggled to fill rosters for the SBL and increase engagement on their social media platforms.

Process

Problem

We needed to attract more athletes to the SBL by creating a website that clearly communicated the league’s purpose and goals, helping potential players understand what the SBL aimed to achieve.

Solution

We developed an SEO-optimized website for the SBL, focusing on branding that connected developing players with quality coaching and a fresh approach to development. Additionally, we introduced an engaging content strategy for IVB's social media accounts, emphasizing athlete personalities and helping the audience get to know the players on a deeper level.

Impact

  • Over 5,000 site sessions were recorded in the first month

  • ​Signups for the SBL reached maximum capacity

  • 17,000 accounts were reached on Instagram in month one
